Jean-Christophe BATLLE

Director of the Organization and International Development Direction

 

Born in 1971 in France, M. Batlle graduated in an AD in accounting, a BS in international trade from the University of Marseille, France and the University of Rotterdam, Netherland. He also graduated in a MD in Export Finance Management in 1995.

 

Starting in the EH group in 1997 as a senior financial analyst in France, he joined in 2001 the EH Group Holding International Development Direction as responsible for Latin America, Southern Europe and North Africa.

 

In 2005, he took over the responsibility of the Organization Direction merged with the International Development Direction of EH Sfac in charge of the Mediterranean Area.

He is board member of EHSFAC, EHACMAR and EH Emporiki.

 

 

 

Drs. Jochem Emmen

Finance & Insurance

 

Jochem has the Dutch nationality and was born in 1974.

 

He studied Economics in Rotterdam as well as Financial Management at Nijenrode Business School. Jochem has been working in credit insurance for the last 8 years. He started at credit insurance company Atradius where he held management positions in both the risk underwriting department and the commercial department focussed on multinationals.

 

After Atradius, he moved to specialised broker firm Finance & Insurance to establish and build the office in Turkey.He is both board member and General Manager of Finance & Insurance in Turkey and member of the International Credit Broker Alliance, ICBA.

 

Jochem is a specialist in credit insurance programs for multinational groups as well as in non-standard programs. With his drive and experience in both worldwide risk underwriting and sales he hopes to strongly contribute to the growth of the credit insurance market in Turkey the coming years.

 

Jochem lives in Istanbul together with his wife Chantal and they are expecting their first child in March 2007.

 

Joachim FRÝEDRÝCH

Executive International Account Manager

Group Marketing and International Department, Coface

 

Born in 1961 in Germany. Joachim Friedrich, a graduate from Bonn University (Germany), started his career in Credit Insurance in 1991 with Allgemeine Kreditversicherung (Germany) after having lived outside Germany and worked in other fields during the 80ties.

 

In 1995 he joined Coface as commercial head for the development in Germany.

 

After Coface acquired Allgemeine Kreditversicherung in 1996 Joachim Friedrich became the General Secretary for the integration of the German credit insurer into Coface Group. In 1999 he was nominated International Director for the development of Coface activities in the Netherlands, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

Beginning of 2001 he moved to Tokyo where he directed from 2002 as Regional Managing Director the development of the Coface group activities in Japan and Korea. Since leaving Japan in autumn of 2005 Joachim is working within the organization of the Coface Group Marketing and International Department

(Paris) taking care of sales to international key accounts. Mr. Friedrich spends a noteworthy part of his time in Istanbul.

 

 

Nicolas GARCÝA

Head of Product Management & International Sales  Euler Hermes SFAC*

 

Born in 1973, he completed a MS degree (1995) in International Finance from the University of Bordeaux (France) and a Master of Business Administration (1996) in International Banking and Finance from the Birmingham Business School (UK).

 

He joined Euler Hermes’ Risk Departement in 1997 and worked as a credit analyst. In 2001, he became manager of a credit risk office near Paris.

He moved to the Commercial & Marketing Departement in 2004 and worked as International Account Manager.

 

He is now Head of Product Management and International Sales and he is especially in charge of the Euler Hermes’ commercial development on the Turkish Market.

 

 

Elchanan J. LANGE

Born at 1968 in the Netherlands, mr. Lange lives in Israel since 1970. He is the managing director of International Advisers, Israel. Mr. Lange is married and has three children.

 

Mr. Lange graduated Economics & Business Management, at the University of Ben Gurion, Be'er Sheva, Israel.  From 1994 till end 1996 he worked as Jerusalem's Area Economist for Mercantile Discount Bank. At 1997 Mr. Lange established the Israeli Branch office of the International Advisers Group in Tel-Aviv. Starting with debt-collection activities in Israel, Mr. Lange expanded the firm’s activities to Greece, Cyprus and Turkey, and is currently working for the major global credit insurance companies, exporters, banks and factoring companies.

 

Mr. Lange is officially acknowledged as Arbitrator & Mediator by the Israeli court.

 

 

Levent NART

Levent Nart is the founder, President and CEO of Nart Insurance Broking Service Inc. NART is one of the Turkey's leading Insurance Brokers specialising in large risks. He graduated from Ege University and then the University of Cologne, Faculty of Business Administration.

 

He began his career in 1984 at AXA Colonia Konzern in Germany as a management trainee and became an industrial consultant. From 1987 to 1999, he was the CEO and President of Nordstern UAP, AXA Oyak Insurance Companies in Turkey. In 1999, he established NART, and within 5 years, this company became the largest independent Insurance Broking Service Company in Turkey.

 

 NART Insurance and Reinsurance Broking Services Inc. is providing risk management services for Turkish and international industrial companies in more than 108 countries.

 

 Levent NART was the former Board and Supervisory Board Member of Turkish Industrialists’ Businessmen’s Association (TUSIAD), Young Businessmen Association of Turkey (TUGIAD) and The German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Since October 2004, he is the President of Association of Insurance Brokers, Turkey.

 

 

Ýsmail YANIK

 Born in 1956 in Ýstanbul. He is an industrial engineer with BS degree (1979) from Middle East Technical University in Ankara and MS degree (1982) from Bosphorus University in Ýstanbul. He also received an AMP degree (1999) from Harvard Business School.

 

He started his banking career in Pamukbank (1980) and worked as foreign trade and foreign currency specialist. Later he joined Citibank N.A. (1984) and worked in investment banking and treasury departments as resident vice-president. In 1992 he joined Turk Ekonomi Bankasý (TEB) as assistant general manger in charge of the treasury group. He was appointed in 2002 as an executive board member and was responsible for Risk Management and Internal Audit. Currently he is a member of TEB board and audit committee.

 

Mr.Yanik is a known name in Turkish gold market and he was a board member between 1997 and 2005 for two consecutive terms in Ýstanbul Gold Exchange.

 

He is a board member and vice-chairman of Risk Managers Association.

Mr.Yanik is married and has two children.
