Avi ALKAŞ

Avi Alkaş born on 1956, graduated from Robert College and has management degree from Bosphorus University and masters degree on management again in Bosphorus University. After working in projects like Akmerkez, Carousel, İzmit Outlet Center, on 1997 Avi Alkaş established his own firm Alkaş Consulting that played a significant role on projects like Olivium, Nautilus, Armada,KayseriPark, KoruPark and İstinyePark. He is also a European jury member on International Council of Shopping Centers from which he gained the title of SCMD and SCSM. Avi Alkaş is married and has 2 sons.

Bekir CUMURCU

Bekir Cumurcu has been the General Manager and Vice Chairman of Nurol Real Estate Investment Company since its foundation in 1997 and held executive positions in the same group since 1992. He started his carrier as a Wall Street Research Assistant and continued in the Public Sector in Turkey. He worked at the Privatization Administration, Emlak Bank and Housing Development Administration in executive positions and served in the boards of various public and private companies. Mr. Cumurcu holds an MBA and an APC from New York University.

Ercüment Çetin ALANYA

Ercüment Çetin Alanya was born in İstanbul in 1949. After having completed High School education in İstanbul Lisesi (German based high schooling) and having graduated from University of İstanbul, Faculty of Economics in 1971,he joined Destek Reinsurance Company, now merged into Milli Reasürans,in 1975.

He has had extensive reinsurance training in London,Munich,Zurich and Paris.In 1982 he became Asst.General Manager of Destek Re. In 1989 he joined Yapı Kredi Sigorta ( ex Halk Sigorta) as Asst.General Manager responsible for Marine Dept., Reinsurance Dept.,Agencies,Public Relations and Advertising,and Office Management.In 1993 he accepted the offer of the Doğan Group to become General Manager of Ray Sigorta.In May 2006 he resigned from this position.

Mr.Alanya was Board Member of the Association of Turkish Insurance and Reinsurance Companies from 1997 until 2005 and Vice President of the same institution from 2001 until 2005. He was also founding Member of Board of Tramer,Motor Third Party Insurances Information Center.He was Board Member of Dışbank (now Fortis in Turkey) between 1995-2002 as well as Board Member of Doğan Life Ins.(now Fortis Pensions) between 1998-2005.

Çetin Alanya is teaching reinsurance in Insurance Institute since 1987 and is the author of a book on reinsurance.He has represented the Turkish Insurance Market in many international bodies ,forums and panels as delegate,speaker and moderator.He is fluent in English,German and French.

Levent Nart is the founder, President and CEO of Nart Insurance Broking Service Inc. NART is one of the Turkey's leading Insurance Brokers specialising in large risks. He graduated from Ege University and then the University of Cologne, Faculty of Business Administration.

He began his career in 1984 at AXA Colonia Konzern in Germany as a management trainee and became an industrial consultant. From 1987 to 1999, he was the CEO and President of Nordstern UAP, AXA Oyak Insurance Companies in Turkey. In 1999, he established NART, and within 5 years, this company became the largest independent Insurance Broking Service Company in Turkey.

NART Insurance and Reinsurance Broking Services Inc. is providing risk management services for Turkish and international industrial companies in more than 108 countries.

Levent NART was the former Board and Supervisory Board Member of Turkish Industrialists’ Businessmen’s Association (TUSIAD), Young Businessmen Association of Turkey (TUGIAD) and The German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Since October 2004, he is the President of Association of Insurance Brokers, Turkey.

M. EMRE ÇAMLIBEL

Emre Çamlıbel started his career in 1992 at STFA prior to his work at Kennedy & Rossi Inc. and Walsh Brothers Inc. as a Project Engineer in the USA. He has held a number of executive roles at Soyak before he was appointed as the General Manager of Soyak Yapı in 2001. Çamlıbel has an MS degree in Civil Engineering from MIT (1994) and has been the Executive Member of the Board since 2004.

Mr. Yavuz Ölken who was born in İzmir on 1966 graduated from İstanbul Technical University as an civil engineer.In 1998 Mr. Ölken started his business life in Halk Sigorta(Yapı Kredi Sigorta) as an risk engineer.Further more Mr. Ölken worked as an asistant technical manager in Inter Sigorta and technical manager in Aviva Sigorta.Since 2002 Mr. Ölken is working as an asistant general manager of Corporate Technical and IT Departments. Mr. Yavuz Ölken is a member of Tarsim board at the same time.

Seymur was formerly CFO of a Turkish company and previously worked at McKinsey & Company in Istanbul focusing on financial analysis, sales force and supply chain management and at Caterpillar Inc. in Geneva as a product manager. Seymur has an MBA from INSEAD and an MS and BSc in Mechanical Engineering and Robotics from ETH Zurich. Seymur represents Turkven on the Boards of Intercity, Trendtech, Pronet and Roma.
